Coosa Bluewater 26 Composite Board - 4 x 4 and 4 x 8 ft Sheets

Coosa Bluewater 26 is the board shops use to replace rotted plywood in transoms, stringers, decks and bulkheads. It is high density polyurethane foam reinforced with layers of fiberglass, 26 lb per cubic foot, so it does not rot, takes on very little water, and takes screws for mounting hardware. Sizes: 4 x 4 ft half sheets in 1/2 and 3/4 in, or full 4 x 8 ft sheets in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 in. Where it goes: transom cores, stringers, bulkheads, decks and soles, hatch lids, and backing pads under hardware. Weight: lighter than marine plywood of the same thickness. Bonding: bonds with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester. Scuff the faces and bed it in thickened resin. Working it: cuts and drills with carbide woodworking blades and bits. Wear a dust mask and work with good ventilation. Need a lighter board for fill and floors? Coosa Nautical 15 is the economy option. For decks and curved cores, see our Divinycell foam core. Shipping: 4 x 4 ft half sheets ship by UPS in an oversize box. Full 4 x 8 ft sheets are too large for parcel carriers, so they ship by truck freight with a liftgate. The freight charge at checkout covers the whole order, so several full sheets ship for one charge. Coosa is a trademark of Coosa Composites. Questions? Call or text (954) 245-0302.
