The Concept Behind The Unbroken Ribbon: Pink sapphires represent the people at the heart of the metastatic breast cancer community: their lives, voices, love, and collective strength. Black diamonds acknowledge the darker reality of metastatic breast cancer: the fear, grief, loss, and lives taken by a disease that remains incurable. At the very end sits one colorless diamond. A symbol of resilience. Formed under extraordinary pressure, it reminds us that even in the darkest moments, there is still strength, brilliance, and light. It represents those who face the unimaginable and keep fighting, with a strength that refuses to break.
