The Blacks Kit

You guys - I became obsessed with the idea of a sweater in different shades of black (and white! Click here for The Whites Kit!) so I came up with one that could always be available and would work for a number of patterns in fingering, sport or even light DK weight. No two kits are alike! This is an artistic endeavor and I reserve the right to have different takes on it. If there’s something you really want or that you really hate, feel free to let me know in the comments, and I will do my best to accommodate you. Great patterns for this kit include: Viisto by Anna Johanna Frankie Blouse by Petiteknit Olga Blouse by Petiteknit Stripy Unicorn by Joji Locatelli Charles Blouse by Kolibri by Johanna Stonecrop Pullover by Andrea Mowry Pop Rock Pullover by Tania Lavalee Elton Pullover by Joji Locatelli There are so many options! It would also be great for a shawl! Note: The yardage is for holding the lace weight mohair and Suri silk double! You will have extra yardage if you hold them single only. Kits come in four sizes and include 7 or 8 shades of black: 1000 Yards Kit: 7 Shades of Black 1 full skein Stockholm Suri Silk 1 full skein Munich Mohair 3-20g Frankfurt Fingering minis 1- 50g Freetown Fingering 1- 50g Gold Stellina Fingering 1500 Yards Kit: 7 Shades of Black 1 full skein Stockholm Suri Silk 1 full skein Munich Mohair 3-20g Frankfurt Fingering minis 1 full skein Freetown Fingering 1 full skein Gold Stellina Fingering 2000 Yards Kit: 8 Shades of Black 2 full skeins Stockholm Suri Silk 1 full skein Munich Mohair 3-50g Frankfurt Fingering minis 1 full skein Freetown Fingering 1 full skein Gold Stellina Fingering 2500 Yards Kit: 7 Shades of Black 2 full skeins Stockholm Suri Silk 2 full skeins Munich Mohair 2 full skeins Frankfurt Fingering 1 full skein Freetown Fingering 1 full skein Gold Stellina Fingering
