CryoVault 1600-635R keeps 1300-635R’s exact footprint — same 1,565 mm diameter, same 635 mm neck, same 60-rack carousel — and simply builds it 170 mm taller inside. That’s worth 18,900 more cryovials, 81,900 in total, and a jump from 10 to 13 boxes per rack as the taller chamber gives each rack more room to stack. It’s the middle step in the flagship tier: for a facility already installed on the 635 mm footprint that needs meaningfully more capacity but isn’t ready to commit to 1800-635R’s full height. Samples still sit above the liquid line in −190°C nitrogen vapor, on the same 30-day vapor-hold margin as its shorter sibling.
