Sculptural, sensual, and striking, this Herb Ritts exhibition poster features Male Nude on Log, 1987. Dramatic light and shadow trace the figure’s muscular form, transforming a tightly curled pose into a study of strength, vulnerability, and balance. Created for an exhibition at Staley-Wise Gallery in New York and published by The Art Group, London, this poster bears Ritts’s signature and a handwritten ’90 date in the lower left. That personal touch adds an appealing connection to the photographer behind the image. Significant creasing, surface wear, tears, and discoloration affect both the image and margins. For a buyer comfortable with substantial condition issues, it offers an opportunity to acquire a signed Herb Ritts poster at a price that reflects its damage, while retaining the visual impact of his distinctive photography.
