Greta Vintage Elm Console Table

A vintage elm console table with a single drawer, a low shelf and a stunning swirl of grain across the drawer front. We like the way that figure plays against the straighter, quieter boards of the top. The whole piece has been tastefully refinished, keeping the pale, dry colour that around 120 years of use gave it. Twin stretchers on each side keep the frame strong, and the shelf below adds a second layer of storage. At 43cm deep it sits happily in a hallway or beside a bed.
