Each earring opens with a silver-tone disc worked in a concentric-circle pattern with a rope-twist edge; below it hangs a hoop of dark metal wire that Jared crocheted and chain-wrapped by hand, then set with Swarovski crystals, rhinestones, glass beads, and ornamental charms — every stone meticulously stitched on with durable thread, never glued. At 3.25 inches these are true statement hoops, and the pair keeps its handmade character: the crystal placements differ slightly from one earring to the other — the amber cabochon and the little pink flower cluster land in different spots — so no two are ever alike, because there are no two.
