Bargemone 'Bascule' Rouge (France)

This is a more wintry style of natural red wine which may just tickle your fancy! It's made with 100% Syrah, providing generous blackberry and raspberry flavours. Also notice lovely notes of thyme & bay leaf. This wine is incredibly interesting, and VERY food-friendly, or 'gastronomic.' The winemakers themselves suggest pairing this wine with 'Brousse du Rove' goat's cheese, malfadine pasta with pecorino, or octopus risotto.
