Easy Reversible Sling Bag with Mallory

Learn the basics of bag making while creating a fun and functional reversible Sling Bag! This class is a great introduction to the skills and techniques used in bag making. In this class you will learn the basics of reading a bag making pattern, boxing corners, sewing in the round, and the basics of bag construction. You’ll leave class with a new bag and the confidence to take on your next bag-making project. Ages 18+ Skill Level: Advanced Beginner Advanced Beginner classes are designed as “next step” classes to build basic skills. Sewing students must have taken Sewing 101 and/or be comfortable threading their machines and sewing simple projects. Learn more about our skill levels here. Supplies (not included in the cost of this class): Please note that all materials purchased for this lesson at Sew To Speak receive a 15% discount. 3/4 yard fabric for Exterior - quilting cotton, lightweight canvas, linen 3/4 yd fabric for Interior - quilting cotton 1 spool of coordinating thread Other tools and supplies: Sewing machine.
