Berkshire Pork Cured Ham (On The Bone)

Available from 15th Dec only. The ultimate crowd pleaser! Outdoor reared pigs from our farm down the road. Berkshires are in our opinion the best native breed pigs around. Cooking instructions are given on a leaflet with your purchase. · Place the ham in the oven at 175 Degree Celsius (do not remove from the bag) in a shallow tray with some water · Cook for approx 3 - 4 hours. · Remove ham from the oven and leave it on the side for 15 minutes. · Open the bag (be careful as steam might come out). Remove ham from bag. · Remove the rind , peppercorn and bay leaves. · Glaze with your choice of, · Mustard and honey, brown sugar, treacle, marmalade etc. · Put it back in the oven for about 30 minutes to glaze · Enjoy your ham and Happy Christmas from everyone at TMC!
