An exceptional vintage kantha quilt, finely stitched with a coral and deep pink background, colourful patches and a black geometric border on each edge. The reverse side is mainly turquoise with a bright green section. It can also be used across a doube and larger beds as a throw. Our vintage kantha quilts are handmade in India from layers of upcycled cotton saris. Each one is unique, with its own combination of colours, fabrics and hand stitching. Little patches, variations in the stitching and occasional extra embroidery all add to their character and charm. Each side of a kantha is different, the first seven photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
