Starlit Currents Twist Front Tee Dress – Handmade Batik Artist Dress Hand-painted batik dress on a soft and stretchy 100% cotton twist-front tee dress sewn by Dharma. Featuring flowing freehand wave patterns, swirling brushwork, dotted trails, and scattered stars across a rich maroon and plum background with turquoise and icy blue accents. I painted each brush stroke - along with every dot and star - by hand using traditional batik methods utilizing hot beeswax and layered dye baths. Each individual brushstroke follows the movement of an invisible current flowing around the skirt, creating a dreamy sense of motion and light. The flattering twist-front neckline creates an easy feminine shape while the lightweight cotton knit drapes beautifully and feels comfortable for everyday wear, festivals, travel, or dressing up with jewelry and boots.
