Vintage Leather Hunting Top Boots and Trees by Maxwell - Boot036

These boots were well used and loved - even their patches have patches. There are small splits on each of the feet and the inside of one leg. They have been widened along their back seams. They would look good on display, their trees could still be used but the boots themselves might be beyond much more use. They are made of black waxed leather with leather soles They have brown leather tops. The boots have four part wooden (probably beech) trees . Each tree has a brass ring in the top of its central section and a small ivorine plaque that is stamped "Maxwell, 9 Dover Street, London". Measurements : The foot of the tree has a maximum length of 28cm (11") which translates to a UK size 10, a US size 11 or EU size 44.5.
