Due to the rarity of this denim, we do not know when — or if — this fabric will ever be made again. _____ 21oz Selvedge This garment is cut from a structured 21oz Selvedge Slub Denim — an extremely limited fabric produced only a handful of times each year. Woven from 100% cotton on traditional shuttle looms, the denim features a deep slub texture with a dense, heavyweight feel that holds its shape beautifully from day one. What makes this selvedge denim truly special is the way it breaks in. As the rigid indigo softens with wear, the denim develops high-contrast fades, natural whiskering, and beautiful vertical texture unique to the person wearing it. Within just a few months of daily wear, our 21oz Selvedge denim begins revealing electric blue undertones and sharp vintage-style fade patterns reminiscent of well-worn archival denim. Heavy, textured, and unapologetically rigid — this is true heritage selvedge denim designed to be worn hard and broken in for years to come. _____ * Please Read (Raw Selvedge): We intentionally left these jeans raw, unwashed, and untreated to allow the denim to fade naturally with wear. Because of this, the indigo dye will bleed during the initial break-in period — especially onto lighter garments and sneakers. This is completely normal and part of what gives raw selvedge denim its beautiful, personalized fade patterns over time. We recommend avoiding white or light-colored clothing and footwear for the first few weeks of wear until the excess surface dye begins to settle. We didn't wash these jeans, and neither should you (for a few months). If you must wash, turn the garment inside out, then hand wash with cold water only and very little soap, and then hang dry to finish. Do not use a machine or dryer, ever.
