To reuse as a teacup: Once your candle has finished, gently remove the wick stump and sticker by washing gently in soapy water, removing all the residual wax until the teacup is completely clean then it’s ready to use as a teacup/coffee cup. Pistachio(yellowy green teacup) is in Blend No.10-RETREAT a breathtaking spa-like blend of Sweet Orange, Grapefruit and Sandalwood essential oils, to help lift mood, inducing feelings of happiness and hopeful optimism. *Follow the candle advice below to get the best results from your candle. —————————————————————————— FOR THE BEST LUXURY CANDLE EXPERIENCE To ensure you have a long lasting, full fragranced therapeutic soy candle experience, please follow these instructions:- To make the wicks easily removable for reuse as a teacup, we are using wick stickers on these candles, we recommend you don’t burn the candle for longer than 2 hours at a time (allowing the candle to set between burns) this prevents wick dislodging and floating to the surface. For the first burn always burn for 1:45-2hours, to allow the melted wax to reach the sides. After the 2nd or third burn due to the unusual shape of these candles, they may appear to tunnel, this will rectifies itself with further use. CREATE A GOOD ‘BURN MEMORY’ When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container, OR for 2 hours. Don’t burn candles for more than 2hrs, this prevents soot build-up and wicks floating. Always trim your wick to about 6-8mm before you re-light your candle to minimise soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick left from previous burn. TROUBLE SHOOTING-If you do not trim the wick regularly or if the candle is in a draught or is left to burn too long, you may get a “mushroom” on the end of the wick which will cause some soot to collect on the inside of the vessel. If this happens, extinguish your candle, wait for it to cool, trim the wick to 6-8mm, wipe off soot with a clean damp cloth. Then relight and use as above. NOTE ABOUT THE APPEARANCE Please remember all L&L candles are hand poured in small batches, not massed produced in a factory by machines. Although all effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be slightly unique and different. After burning the top of your candle may appear slightly uneven & there may be some wax irregularities (such as bubbling or unevenness). this is a sign of natural soy wax in essential oils being used and doesn’t affect the candles effectiveness in your aromatherapy experience. We suggest you do not leave your candle in direct sunlight as it may turn a yellowy colour, although this should not affect the candles use. The safe & proper use of your L&L candles is our top priority so we give the following safety advice:- Never leave a burning candle unattended Burn candle out of reach of children and pets Always leave at least 10cm between burning candles Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire Do not place candles in a draught Don’t burn a candle all the way down-we recommend leaving 5mm of wax in the container Keep the wax pool clean and clear of matches and other debris to avoid flaring You can find safety instructions on the base of all of our candles and if you're ever unsure please get in touch.
