Built by Tenshodo in Japan, this model is a heavy-duty freight and passenger hauler that captures the massive profile of the GN's primary steam power. Technical Status & Service Notes: Recent Maintenance: This locomotive has been professionally cleaned and serviced. Electrical: The motor is responsive, and the headlight is fully functional. Mechanical Disclosure: The engine runs well across the speed range; however, there is a noticeable buzzing sound at high speeds. This has been diagnosed as a vibration in the driveline. We are unable to fix this buzz because of the angle of the gearbox relative to the motor. Finish: Clean unpainted brass with a consistent finish and no major tarnishing.
