They don't come much more striking than 'The Duchess of Cornwall' clematis! With royal-purple blooms (made to 'pop' even more thanks to butter-yellow anthers) and a neat, compact habit, this is the perfect pick for the patio and smaller gardens. Free-flowering and easy to look after, this clematis has become immensely popular since its introduction, back in 2021. And when you look at it, it's not hard to see why! Grow this clematis up an obelisk or trellis, or alternatively, let it vine its way around an established, free-standing rose (other shrubs work well, too).
