Osteria 16 Cookbook
A Danish cookbook from the restaurant of the same name in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, created by chef Morten Kaltoft and artist Emil Alsbo. The book contains 80 Italian recipes with a focus on seasonal ingredients, distinct flavors and a simple, unpretentious cooking style. The recipes are divided into antipasti, polenta, pasta, risotto, pizza, bread, dessert and classic Italian basic recipes. The meals are inspired by family style serving, where the entire table shares the food - in a spirit that reflects the restaurant's relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Kaltoft, previously working at the Michelin restaurant Era Ora, combines technical knowledge with accessible flavors. Alsbo's photographs capture both the dishes and the environment – from the restaurant's kitchen to Italian markets and street environments.
