🌿 Wild Plant Walk – Edible, Medicinal, and Other Useful Plants
Location: Ältavägen 101, 131 33 Nacka or Gothenburg (see tickets) This walk is for anyone who wants to learn how to make the most of nature’s untamed resources. Take part in an inspiring excursion where we’ll touch, smell, and taste our way through the wild pantry found right in your local surroundings. You’ll learn how to identify edible plants, understand their medicinal properties, and explore the many ways they can be used. We’ll also cover how to harvest sustainably and how to recognize toxic lookalikes. Gain the confidence to pick a wild weed salad in the park. Brew a healing herbal tea from a nearby meadow. Make a delicious green pesto from foraged leaves. Discover how fun and fulfilling it can be to gather and prepare your own food. You’ll be amazed at how much nature has to offer right around the corner. Your guide, Sofia Slavik, founder of Vildväxt, is a trained self-sustainer, certified mushroom consultant, and experienced nature guide with deep knowledge of wild food and preservation techniques. In addition to plant walks, she also offers courses on edible seaweeds and mushrooms found in Swedish nature, along with workshops in fermentation and other food processing methods. Reserve your spot today and immerse yourself in nature! The information on exact spots will be shared as the event draws near.
