This custom ranch saddle was purchased directly from Helen Corwin and has been lovingly cared for since then. It is still as comfortable as the day it was built and it only weighs approx 28 lbs. Helen R. Corwin was a pioneering female saddle maker and expert leatherworker based in Arizona and California. She was known for crafting high-quality, custom saddles and leather gear, including a saddle for James Arness of Gunsmoke.
