1945 B15 Flight Jacket – Olive

The B-15 Flight Jacket was the US Air Force's successor to the earlier leather jackets. This version is a faithful replica of the very first iteration, which was the last flight jacket made of cotton before nylon took over. The jacket is woven from a robust 240 g/sqm cotton sateen, providing a smooth and durable surface. Internally, it is equipped with a heavy 100% wool lining weighing a full 500 g/sqm, making the jacket extremely warm and prepared for cold conditions. The collar is made of genuine sheepskin for optimal insulation and comfort around the neck. The design is true to the original from 1945, with authentic details such as leather triangles and loops for attaching an oxygen mask and radio equipment. The jacket features ribbed cuffs and waistband to retain warmth, and it is stitched with a left-handed 1940s Talon zipper. The deep olive color will develop a beautiful character and a natural fade over time, just as the original jackets did during service.
