P17 Progressive Post, +20mm forward offset
Why do you want it? Your saddle is slammed as far forward as it goes, and you want more. As much as 20mm more. Perhaps you are looking to move your bike position forward to achieve a more progressive fit and need a way to do so without the bent-forward seatpost look. You have a bike with a 27.2 seatpost. What is it? This product uses AProto Bike's take on the popular Ritchey-style 1-bolt saddle clamp interface used by OEMs. It is designed to provide +10mm forward offset without creating additional stress on the bolts and post. The post's design provides another +10mm of forward offset. The Titanium version is designed to vent to prevent distortion during welding and printing , and we have designed the post to leave a 10mm hole that can be fitted with a rubber plug, allowing a dynamo rear light or other wiring to be installed as needed. A drain hole is also part of the design to reduce water ingress through the seatpost. The post is only available in 27.2mm diameter and 350mm length options. Note: We are not affiliated with Ritchey in any way and are only using their name to describe product compatibility. How is it Made? Note: This product is not yet available to order. We are currently validating prototypes and selecting suppliers.
