Saucer – Blue & Gold

The Handmade Ceramic Saucer Blue & Gold is crafted in our Frankfurt studio as part of a limited collaboration with the Düsseldorf-based jewelry brand Ariane Ernst. This Handmade Ceramic Saucer combines a clean ceramic form with a fine gold detail that is painted by hand, reflecting a shared approach to craftsmanship and material precision. Each Handmade Ceramic Saucer is made from high-quality stoneware and shaped by hand before being fired at high temperatures. The blue glaze is applied manually and creates a smooth surface with subtle variations in tone and depth. The gold ring is individually hand-painted on each piece and frames the center of the saucer. Slight differences in line thickness and placement may occur, which are characteristic of the handmade process and give each Handmade Ceramic Saucer its own individual character. The proportions are designed to function as a saucer for coffee or espresso cups, while also working as a small plate for pastries or side servings. The slightly raised rim helps to keep cups stable and provides a clear structure for the surface. The defined center supports a balanced placement of cups and complements the overall form. Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the saucer is durable and suitable for everyday use. Due to the hand-painted gold detail, hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish over time. Each Handmade Ceramic Saucer is inspected before leaving our studio to ensure quality and consistency. Handmade and handcrafted in Germany.
