• 7 ft. long bevel boards • Primed White Kimberly Bay primed finger-joint boards are made with a finish that lasts. Two coats gesso coat are applied to create a smooth surface that is water/moisture resistant with a latex topcoat for easy finishing. Boards are constructed from Radiata and Taeda Pine that machines, glues, and finishes well. These boards can be used for interior and exterior use. Plantation grown Pine Kiln temperature is 56℃-68℃ for to under 12% moisture content for a duration of 5 days We do very strict on quality inspection for glue strength, size, and moisture. We select 3 pieces FJ/EG board with 150mm long for testing and put in the water with 70℃ for 3 hours, then in the drying oven for 20 hours with 63℃. All samples passed the strength testing. We also conduct testing on the gesso coats and painting adhesive strength. The first coat of gesso applied after boards are sanded, then boards are put into the drying line until the gesso dried completely. The second coat of gesso is applied after the first gesso is dried - the same process as the first one. After two coats gesso, the white latex is applied and died.
