Vintage Pink and Red Runner

A long vintage Turkish flatweave kilim runner whose upper half dissolves into soft horizontal bands of blush, mauve and sage - almost watercolour-like in their quiet abstraction. Below, a bold deep red field is anchored by a stepped ivory lightning bolt running the full length of the centre. Hand-woven in fine wool, naturally faded and full of character.
