LST-139 MALASADA "Malasada EP" Cassette Tape Malasada self titled tape (Feb tape subscription release) is 8 tracks long, it's every song I've recorded as Malasada so far. First official release for Malasada! 6 original quirky pop songs about food, a Mountain Goats cover, and a Charlie McAlister cover. Most of those songs were written in 2015 but it took me awhile to really embrace the Malasada moniker post-Blanket Truth. I'm all in now, let's go! From 2015: New band. Fresh songs. Jon Manning is Malasada through and through. Canadian/Hawaiian solo bedroom/office music. Short and sweet songs, gone quickly. 5 of the 6 songs were written in February 2015 and promptly filed into a folder on the computer and not shared with anyone. This is an EP of songs that are food related. Not all of the future songs will be though. Thanks for listening. Maybe we'll make this into a physical thing if there's any interest. Maybe not.
