AM Wool Prep with Cecilia from Nor'easter Yarns

This is a morning AM session, 9:30a after breakfast. Class will be shown as SOLD OUT until registration opens on May 1st. Wool Prep From raw fleece to roving ready to spin. Get acquainted with the tools of the trade, and try them in this class. We will compare raw wool to scoured wool. Comb, card, blend, additions--make your dream batt. I will go through everything from soap choice, temperatures, tips and tricks, drying, picking, combing, and carding. Touching wool makes you happier. Everyone is welcome who shares an interest in wool prep. Teacher: Cecilia Stern-Frisenfelds Cecilia is originally from Sweden, and used to author text books and worked as an editor and project manager for a large publishing house in Sweden. Years ago, she started her fiber company Nor'easter Yarns, focusing on local and small farms.
