Eames Surfboard ETR Coffee Table for Herman Miller, Black Mid Century Modern Table

This classic mid century modern Eames ETR (Elliptical Table Rod Base) coffee table by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller was manufactured circa 2000. Originally introduced in 1951 and known as the "surfboard" table, this low, long coffee table has a simple yet distinctive design with an oval shape and beveled plywood edge. This model features a seven-ply Baltic birch core with high-pressure black laminated top and chromed wire rod base. Eames Herman Miller plaque label to underside. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. A few surface scratches to laminate with a very small edge chip. Chrome base has developed an aged patina over time.
