Made in USA in 1986, this piano has had one adult owner. Freshly serviced by PianoWorks staff, it is now ready for a new home. While Baldwin’s history goes back to the mid-19th century, Baldwin ascended as one of the truly great modern pianos after WWII. Baldwin ascended as Steinway’s greatest competition here in the US, frequently winning over top Classical and Pop artists. As Baldwin grew, they made many different lines and models, but the Artist series, including this model R was a perennial favorite. Warm, rich and expressive in ways that are usually only matched by the most prestigious brands today, this piano is a true bargain.
