Nisaku Serrated Hori Hori

At 7" long, this serrated hori hori has a slightly longer blade than our other models. It's also a bit stouter and heavier, good for big, strong hands. The shaped handle is fits comfortably in the hand and the backside of the blade is engraved with measurement markings up to 6"/150mm if you want to check planting depths. The hori hori is an indispensable multi-purpose tool that my crew and I always carry on our tool belts. This tool performs many functions: weeder, planting tool (bulbs, plugs, small pots), trowel, root slicer, knife. For those of you not in the know, 'hori hori' is literally translated as 'dig dig'.
