Black Berkey Element Washers : Food-Grade Replacement Washer for Black Berkey Filters The Black Berkey Element Washer is a food-grade replacement washer designed for Black Berkey Purification Elements. It helps create a secure seal between the upper and lower chambers of your Berkey system when installing the filters. Each Black Berkey filter set normally includes washers, but replacements can be purchased if the originals are lost or damaged. This washer is only compatible with Black Berkey Purification Elements and is used with the Black Berkey wingnut. It is not compatible with Super Sterasyl ceramic filters.
