Yuki No Sei rice grown in Niigata prefecture--the prefecture in Japan most widely associated with having excellent rice. Only able to be grown in Niigata, Yuki No Sei is almost completely unavailable outside of Niigata. Each grain is well-defined and large. As it is delicious even when cooled, Yuki No Sei is great for lunch boxes and onigiri. Niigata has been the center of rice making in Japan for centuries due to its fertile soils, large temperature gaps in the day, and quality of its water that comes from melting mountain caps.
