WARPATH HAT
The Apache Warpath boat, a legendary 41-foot offshore racing vessel, was built in 1984 by Bobby Saccenti of Apache Powerboats and claimed victory at that year’s American Power Boat Association World Championships in Key West, Florida. Known as Hull #001, this Kevlar-hulled powerhouse, driven by Ben Kramer with Saccenti on throttles and Tom Evans as navigator, dominated rough seas with its twin supercharged 1000-hp V-8 engines, securing its place in powerboat racing history. After competing in just four prior races, Warpath’s triumph in challenging 10-foot waves showcased its superior design for high-speed stability.
