الصحيفة السجادية، كتاب يشمتل على 54 دعاء ومناجاة للإمام السجاد (ع) رابع أئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام، ويحظى بمكانة عظيمة بين الشيعة، ويأتي بالمرتبة الثلاثة بعد القرآن الكريم ونهج البلاغة، ويُعرف باسم “زبور آل محمد” و”إنجيل أهل البيت (ع)”. لقد بيّن الإمام السجاد في طيات أدعيته كثيراً من المعارف، منها: معرفة الله، ومعرفة الكون، ومعرفة الإنسان، وعالم الغيب، والملائكة، ورسالة الأنبياء، ومكانة الأنبياء وأهل البيت (ع)، والإمامة، والفضائل الأخلاقية، والأمور الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، وإشارات تأريخية، ونعم الله، وآداب الدعاء، وتلاوة القرآن، والصلاة، وغيرها من المعارف الدينية. وأشهر أدعية الصحيفة هو دعاء مكارم الأخلاق.إضافة لمكانته عند الشيعة، لقد مدح بعض علماء أهل السنة فصاحة الكتاب وبلاغته أيضاً. The Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is a book containing 54 supplications and prayers by Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him), the fourth Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). It holds a revered position among Shi'a Muslims, ranking third after the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha. It is also known as the "Psalms of the Family of Muhammad" and the "Gospel of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)." In his supplications, Imam al-Sajjad elucidates a wealth of knowledge, including: the knowledge of God, the universe, humanity, the unseen world, angels, the message of the prophets, the status of the prophets and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Imamate, moral virtues, social and economic matters, historical references, God's blessings, the etiquette of supplication, Quranic recitation, prayer, and other religious knowledge. The most famous supplication in the Sahifa is the Supplication of Noble Character.
