About the eXtreme Roller Hockey League (XRHL) The eXtreme Roller Hockey League (XRHL) is roller hockey reinvented for a new generation. Founded by commissioner Adam Stio, the league drops the puck on its inaugural pilot season in the summer of 2026 at downtown Toledo's Huntington Center — four teams, one Glass City, and more than $100,000 in prize money on the line. XRHL hockey throws out the old rulebook: it's played four-on-four on a fast, hard surface with no offsides, no icing, a lighter and quicker puck, and yes — the gloves can still come off. The result is the fastest, most wide-open, most eXtreme hockey around. The pilot season features four locally inspired Toledo clubs — the Toledo Sasquatch, Maumee Bay Ghost Frogs, Glass City Pain, and 419 Bladers — battling through an 18-game schedule and single-elimination playoffs from July 10 through August 15, 2026.
