2026 Guafengzhai Liehushan Single Tree

One garden that we left out of our Guafengzhai tasting set last year was a lesser known area commonly known in the market as Liehushan. Over the past 5 years or so it has become a little more popular but the environment and ancient trees are still excellent and haven't been stressed. The garden is on a super steep slope in the middle of virgin jungle and has three groups of trees managed and harvested by several families from Guafengzhai. We picked fresh leaves and processed this tea from a single tree -one of the largest trees in this tea garden The tea is clear, clean and precise with good thickness and nice energy. It's full of elements with a nice minerality and steady long lasting aftertaste. This is a very nice tea.
