WAH-WAH x APA’s ADRIAN LAZZARO x CONG JOSIE - Jumper
What do you get when you cross WAH-WAH with Arts Project Australia’s Adrian Lazzaro and Melbourne’s resident cowboy hedonist, Cong Josie? The ultimate knitwear triumvirate! Working out of the Arts Project Australia studio, Adrian Lazzaro has employed his energetic linework, bold colours, and punk sensibility, to carve out a distinctive place in the Australian art landscape. His creations in a variety of mediums fuse his trademark, pun-filled sense of humour with a rich layer of social commentary. Lazzaro was just the artist to capture fellow Melbourne arts icon, Cong Josie, the hedonistic alter-ego of musician Nic Oogjes. Cong (known to many as the bandleader of heat beat icons, NO ZU). The resulting jumper is as flamboyant, unpredictable and attention-grabbing as Cong Josie himself. Arts Project Australia (APA) is an internationally leading visual arts organisation based in Naarm/Melbourne that champions neurodivergent artists and artists with intellectual disability.
