Thrown and altered abstract vase

The moment pieces like this come out of the warm kiln, it makes me feeling, i am doing something great. I generally keep pots like this, especially when i have changed some technique, This piece was one of those, I have a hard job to replicate these colours and surface, but one day it hopefully will happen. This piece was over glazed with a natural dolomite glaze, which picks out the oxide, and impurities i have hidden deep in the wet clay , duding the heavy reduction in the kiln during firing, these migrate to the surface, and sometimes make magic, and sometimes not. This vase is one of those magical moments. inside glazed, and is good for wet flowers or Ikebana.
