Scissors Pendant Charm

Have you heard in some cultures, expecting mothers are advised to carry scissors with them at all times througout their pregnancy? This is a folklore across several East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese and parts of Malay-Indonesian traditions. The belief is that pregnant women carry a small pair of scissors (or sometimes a knife, pin, or sharp metal object) as a form of spiritual protection. There’s also a symbolic layer: the scissors represent the ability to “cut off” bad luck, curses, or unwanted attachments directed at the mother or baby. This is a pendant charm that moves, yet i actually closes and opens!
