Full Overhead Mounting Board Plans - DXF FILE

This is the DXF file used for CNC for the cutting of the 1/2 or 3/4 inch Plywood mounting board for the entire SL3 Overhead modules. IMPORTANT : The mounting board MUST be Plywood and NOT MDF. Plywood is layered wood veneer, with each layer in perpendicular wood grain orientation from the other, making it strong and warp-free. MDF on the other hand, is made of compressed wood fibers cured in Resin or other curing material which in time, will warp/bend under load, hence not suitable as overhead mounting board. The mounting bolts used are 5mm but I highly recommend using 6.5mm drill bit to bore holes on the plywood for those bolts. The larger holes allow room for fine alignment adjustments. Only drill holes when the panels arrive for a proper placement and alignment. In the DXF file, use only the red lines for cutting. The rest are just illustrations.
