Grape Variety: Grolleau, Gamay, Cabernet Franc Producer: Nicholas Reau Region: Anjou, Loire, France Wild Scale: 2/5 Vegan friendly wine 12.5% alcohol Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration or fining and just a small amount of added sulphur. This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body. Juicy, fresh and perfect as a chilled red option in the summer months. Easy going but plenty of fruit to keep your palate pleased. Notes on the Winemaker: Nicholas Reau has been producing natural wine for many years in Anjou both from his own vines and with negotiant fruit from other growers around the Loire. Well known for his iconic 'Attention" Chenin cuvée, he also produces affordable reds from local grape varieties.
