1966 Citizen Auto Dater Jet ADSS1404-Y

Strikingly beautiful, just serviced, unused 1966 Citizen Auto Dater with 25 jewels Jet automatic movement. The watch is in pristine condition with pieces of original, blue protective film still on the back. All original. The watch is very hefty at 40mm across without the very large crown. It has a strong presence on the wrist and with its fluted bezel, it is guaranteed to get noticed anytime, anywhere. Citizen original Jet automatic movement was produced for only a few years and it has a distinct sound that rotor makes when winding. It has manual winding as well and date quick set with a full pull of the crown. Weekdays are in English only. Quick set for date works by pulling the crown. There is no quick set for weekdays. The watch was completely disassembled and cleaned. Movement lubricated and regulated. It runs stong with a good accuracy for a 60 year old vintage.
