Ridge, Lytton Springs, Dry Creek Valley, 2023

Few wines capture the spirit of California quite like Ridge’s Lytton Springs. Zinfandel leads the blend from old Dry Creek Valley vines, followed by Petite Sirah and Carignane grown on the historic Lytton Springs vineyard. It’s fermented with native yeasts and aged in American oak, keeping the fruit bright and everything nicely balanced. Blackberry and dark cherry sit alongside plum, pepper and a touch of warm spice, with a savoury note that keeps everything in check. Bold yet easygoing, this is the sort of California red that never lingers long in the glass.
