Brazil, 1977. Marcelo, a technology expert in his early 40s, is on the run. Hoping to reunite with his son, he travels to Recife during Carnival, seeking refuge from a mysterious past. But as political tensions mount under Brazil’s military dictatorship, Marcelo discovers that the city is far from the safe haven he expected.
