When viewed closely, playing with the pendant in the hand, these colors become even more apparent across opal's N3 body tone. - Sourced as a rough stone and imported directly from Australia, the 2.3ct opal was personally cut in the Lansdale, Pennsylvania lapidary studio of the pendant's craftsman, Michael Schaner. The sterling silver setting was handcrafted by Michael around the freeform-shaped opal; visible tooling marks in the surface of the metal along the pendant and its bail contribute to a sense of small-scale, homemade American charm. - Fitted with a bail capable of supporting up to a 6mm+ wide chain, the pendant measures a total length of 1.4 inches, allowing it to be suitable for men and women alike. Reasonable care is advised with wear—though the bail has been stress-tested, it is not strongly-suited for sharp tugs or pulls on the pendant. - 18" sterling silver box-style presentation chain included.
