The Merlin Axe features a heavy 220gsm DuPont Kevlar woven lining across 100% of the entire shirt. This provides massive, seamless slide and abrasion resistance if you ever hit the asphalt. Tucked invisibly inside the mesh lining are removable CE Level 1 impact protectors at both the shoulders and elbows. There is also an integrated back pocket built explicitly to house an optional D3O® Viper back protector. Closure with a heavy-duty hidden zipper, covered by a classic button-down flap.
