Backpack Camp

Regular readers of my musings have heard me speak ad infinitum of my love of the medium-sized knife. The one knife; the jack-of-all-trades. This piece is the median of the outdoor cutting tool. Forged to shape, minimal grinding, slender and packable throughout. The blade is 80CRV2, the slim handle is black linen micarta. The end result can build the fire, prep the meal, and fend off the bears (especially at night in your dreams). The sheath is a deep pouch style with crisply moulded boning and a V-notch belt loop for when it leaves the pack to ride your side. Blade length: 7.25", Overall length: 12.4"
