The Bastion exists because we got tired of watching umbrellas fold like lawn chairs in moderate wind. So we built one with twelve alloy-and-fiberglass ribs locked into a steel rod. It doesn't "flex gracefully" — it just... doesn't fold. At all. Ever. We tested it. Repeatedly. Maybe too repeatedly. 530 grams. That's the price of our obsession. You're welcome.
