About This Extract Sunflower Seed Oil-Soluble Extract concentrates the unsaponifiable seed fraction — phytosterols, tocopherols and waxes — from Helianthus annuus seed into a carrier oil. Cold-pressed sunflower oil is the bulk triglyceride; this grade is a concentrate of the minor fraction that pressing leaves largely undifferentiated, so the two are specified quite differently. Used in emollient oil bases and oil-phase cosmetic formulations. Available from 500 g with no minimum order quantity.
