Its streets and bridges over the river Seine and Ile de la Cite, to its picturesque parks and rows of rails penetrating the city fabric, almost to the edges of La Peripherique, the old city boundary. The URBAN BURDEN Collection, is a Contemplation of the layers upon layers of a city block: soil, rock, garbage, treasures, plate tectonics, wind, water, glacial scrapes, urban design, acts of violence, acts of redemption, delight, kindness.
